Hi, I'm Lukas!

I'm passionate about complex systems, whether it's the brain, ant colonies, electricity networks, or social networks. Originally from Cologne, I studied math, philosophy, physics and neuroscience in Freiburg in the beautiful Black Forest. After my studies I started a carpentry apprenticeship at the Kurswerkstatt Freiburg, where I am currently learning how to make custom furniture out of wood.

I'm also really into the outdoors and love to go hiking, climbing, trail running, road cycling, swimming, and of course: extreme ironing.

This website gives you an overview of my past and current adventures in science. Have a look around and see if you can find something interesting!
